2 14-ounce cans french cut green beans, drained well *

4 ounce can mushrooms, drained well

1 small onion, sliced into very thin rings, 2 1/2 ounces

2 stalks celery, finely chopped

2 tablespoons butter

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
