Cola Barbecue Chicken VariationCola Barbecue Chicken VariationCreated by Aquaciser Dawn HippieWitchChick2-3 pounds cut up boneless chicken1 8oz can “no salt added” tomato sauce12 oz diet cola1/4 cup vinegar1 scant TBS chili powder2 tsp onion powder1/2 tsp dry mustard powder1/2 tsp garlic powder1/8 tsp ground cloves1/8 tsp ground allspice1/8 tsp ground cinammon1/4 tsp cayenne pepperPut chicken in nonstick skillet. Brown chicken a little first, if desired, before adding the other ingredients.Bring to boil. Cover, reduce heat and cook for 45 minutes. Uncover, turn up the heat and continue cooking until the sauce becomes thick and adheres to the chicken. Dawns comment: Saves the step of making LC ketchup, and I think its just yummy!
